Refund & Cancellation Policy
The refund and cancellation rules that apply to every Workspace Owner of Abhay.
1. Who this Policy applies to
This Policy applies to Workspace Owners — the natural person or legal entity that creates and pays for a Workspace on Abhay. End users invited into a Workspace (wardens, parents, students, staff) do not pay the Company directly and are not covered by refund mechanics.
2. Billing
Fees and the billing cadence are governed by the separate commercial agreement between the Company and the Workspace Owner. No prices are stated in this Policy. Each invoice reflects the commercials agreed in that separate agreement, plus any applicable taxes (including GST).
The Service is paid from the day a Workspace is activated. There is no free trial unless one is granted in writing in the separate commercial agreement.
3. Refund window
A Workspace Owner may request a refund within seven (7) days of any individual charge by writing to helpdesk@saundaryaroof.homes from the email address on the Workspace's record, quoting the workspace code and the reason for the request.
Where a refund is approved, the refund amount is calculated pro rata for the days remaining in the billing period for which the charge was raised, after deducting:
- Any payment-gateway fees that the gateway does not return to the Company.
- Statutory taxes already remitted to the government.
- Any per-message costs (SMS, email) already incurred during the period.
4. When refunds are not available
The Company is not obliged to issue a refund in any of the following cases:
- The 7-day window has expired.
- The account has been terminated by the Company for breach of the Terms of Service or the Acceptable Use rules.
- The Workspace was abandoned and no support request was raised before the refund request — i.e. the Workspace Owner did not give the Company an opportunity to resolve the underlying issue.
- The complaint is about brief planned or unplanned downtime of less than twenty-four (24) hours, which is within the operational tolerances of the Service.
- The complaint is about a third-party charge that the Company itself does not levy (payment-gateway processing fees, SMS surcharges, etc.).
5. How to request a refund
Email helpdesk@saundaryaroof.homes from the email address on the Workspace Owner's record, with:
- The workspace code (for example,
SHANTI). - The date and reference of the charge for which the refund is being requested.
- A brief reason for the refund request.
We will acknowledge your request within two (2) business days. If the refund is approved, it will be credited to the original payment method within seven (7) business days of approval. If the refund is declined, we will set out the specific reason in writing.
6. Cancellation of a Workspace
A Workspace Owner may cancel their Workspace at any time, with or without a refund request, by writing to helpdesk@saundaryaroof.homes from the email address on the Workspace's record.
On cancellation:
- The Company will provide a data export of student records, parent records and attendance logs within seven (7) days of the cancellation request, in CSV format.
- End-user access (wardens, parents, students, staff) will be disabled on the cancellation date.
- Data is purged from primary stores within seven (7) days of cancellation and from encrypted backups within ninety (90) days, as also set out in the Privacy Policy.
- Any charge already raised for the current billing period may be eligible for a pro-rata refund subject to section 3 above.
7. Disputed charges
If you believe a charge has been raised in error — for example, after the Workspace was cancelled, or in the wrong amount — please write to us at helpdesk@saundaryaroof.homes within seven (7) days of the charge. We will investigate and correct any genuine billing error promptly.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to Workspace Owners at least thirty (30) days before they take effect, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
